Revolt K9 has been a very positive experience for both our puppy "Marley" and our family. We got her when she was 5 weeks old and she is now 6 months old and doing amazing. When we got her she had many issues including socialization problems and food aggressions. Maddisen has been working with her since we got her and is doing a wonderful job. We will continue with Revolt K9 in the future as there is always more for her to learn and Marley loves to be with Maddisen!

We got our new puppy, Henry, when he was almost 16 weeks old and knew we needed to start with training quickly, but didn't know where to start. She guided us through the training each week with great patience. We continue to work with her monthly to work in new areas of focus. I feel confident when I am out with Henry that he will not bite other dogs or children, and he will come when he is called. Not sure where we would be without her! Thank you Maddisen and Revolt K9 for all of your assistance and look forward to working together with you moving forward with our Henry.

About
Maddisen’s journey into dog training began with Wizard of Paws, a thriving dog training and grooming company she built over seven years in Ontario before selling it in January 2024. Seeking new adventures, she moved to BC and founded Revolt K9, where her dedication to canine behavior and training continues to evolve.
Maddisen's training journey began with her Miniature Schnauzer, Chester, whom she trained in agility using homemade courses in her backyard. She later expanded her expertise with her Border Collie, Rev, teaching him a remarkable array of tricks and earning him titles such as "Trick Dog Champion" at just 4 months old. Rev’s achievements continued to grow, including a top 3 finish in the "World's Most Amazing Dog" competition for $100,000 and media appearances, building a significant online following of over 30k (@powerpawsquad). Maddisen was also a member of the SuperDogs for 11 years, showcasing her skills in trick training and musical freestyle performances at events across the country.
Maddisen holds a certification from the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training and Behavior and specializes in high-energy and working breeds. Recently, Maddisen has ventured into the working dog world, focusing on detection and stock dogs. In doing so, she identified a gap in the foundational skills taught within these disciplines and felt compelled to improve them. With her experience and passion, she aims to strengthen these critical skills, ensuring dogs and handlers can build a more solid, reliable foundation.
At Revolt K9, Maddisen’s dog training approach is built on a profound understanding of canine behavior. She focuses on utilizing positive and adaptable methods to cultivate trust and confidence in dogs, always aligning with their natural instincts to help them reach their full potential.
